Recently, Nanjing Deers completed the delivery of one ID600 tapered floating hose (Type A) for a long-term dredging partner. This hose will be used on a trailing suction hopper dredger, serving as a key connection part in the dredging discharge pipeline system.
The tapered floating hose Type A features a unique asymmetric buoyancy design — one end has buoyancy while the other end does not. The buoyant end is typically connected to the bow coupling of the dredger, and the non-buoyant end links to Type B floating hoses.
Built with reinforced rubber layers and wear-resistant materials, the hose provides excellent performance under continuous dredging conditions. Its tapered structure helps optimize flow dynamics, minimizes resistance, and extends the service life of the entire pipeline system.
With years of cooperation behind us, this successful delivery once again highlights Nanjing Deers’ commitment to offering durable and efficient dredging hose solutions for clients worldwide.
