The 30,000-cubic-meter extra-large trailing suction hopper dredger is invested by CCCC Tianjin Dredging Co., Ltd., researched, developed and designed by China State Shipbuilding Corporation, and constructed by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. It is Asia’s largest self-propelled TSHD with huge loading capacity, super-strong dredging capability, and features of green, high efficiency and intelligence.
The TSHD integrates advanced technologies such as ultra-large dredging depth, super-strong soil-breaking capacity and ultra-long discharge distance. It has a maximum mud hold capacity of 38,168 cubic meters and a maximum dredging depth of 120 meters.
Equipped with an advanced and intelligent dredging control system and reserved with the capability of using methanol fuel, the dredger has multiple operation functions including single and double rake dredging and loading, double mud door unloading, and single and double pump bow blowing and discharging to the shore. It can not only adapt to port and waterway dredging and maintenance projects, but also play an important role in sand extraction and reclamation projects, as well as deep-sea trench construction and backfilling projects, meeting the functional requirements of long transportation distance, long blowing distance and large dredging depth.
