Armored Floating Hoses is used in the dredging project and assorting with the pipeline. It is applicable for transporting the material with a sharp interface, large volume, or heavy specific gravity, such as coral reef, coarse sand, weathered rock, etc.
Armored floating discharge hose is a combination of a floating hose and armored discharge hose. On the one hand, the hose is equipped with PE foam body, It can easily float in the harshest sea or mining conditions without floaters. On the other hand, the hose has the excellent abrasion-resistance performance. The wear layer is composed of high abrasion resistance rubber and steel ring, which will extremely extend the lifespan of the hose. It’s available in diameters up to 1100mm with various pressure ranges.
Please follow us to visit our testing of Armored Floating Hose. We have our own testing equipment. Under the direction of NMDC’s engineers, testing pressure of ID850 armored floating hose is 80bar and the bending angle is 90 degrees under 40bar working pressure. The buoyancy testing is according to working site simulation testing in our workshop.
