We have recently completed another customized flotation product order for a client in Europe, supplying a batch of yellow HDPE pipe floaters with a specially designed fastening arrangement.
Each HDPE pipe floater is manufactured in two separate halves so that it can be installed around the pipeline. While standard designs commonly use bolts and nuts to secure both sides of the two halves, the client requested a different connection structure for this project.
For this batch, one side is fastened with the conventional bolt-and-nut system, while the other side uses a bolt combined with a pin-type locking method. This modified arrangement was produced according to the client’s installation requirements and differs from the fastening system used on our regular HDPE pipe floaters.
The client also specified yellow for the float bodies. During production, attention was given not only to the external dimensions and appearance of the floats, but also to the alignment of the two halves and the accuracy of the customized connection points.
Before delivery, the complete batch underwent the necessary quality inspection. The float bodies, fastening components, dimensions, and overall workmanship were checked to confirm that the finished products matched the agreed specifications.
Production and inspection have now been completed, and the customized HDPE pipe floaters have been prepared for delivery to the European client.
