Nanjing Deers has successfully completed the production and shipment of ID650mm Dredge expansion joints for a new client in Bangladesh. This order marks the first cooperation between the two parties, and the products have now been dispatched to the client.
All three expansion joints were manufactured with the same 650 mm internal diameter, while their lengths vary according to the client’s pipeline requirements. Producing different lengths within the same order allows the products to better match the existing pipeline arrangement and installation conditions at the project site.
Expansion joints are commonly installed in pipeline systems to provide flexibility between connected pipeline sections. They can help absorb vibration and shock, accommodate limited movement, and reduce the transmission of mechanical stress through the pipeline during operation.
Throughout production, the dimensions and workmanship of each expansion joint were carefully controlled according to the agreed specifications. Particular attention was paid to the different lengths required for the three units to ensure that each product matched its designated installation position.
Following the completion of production and final inspection, all ID650 expansion joints were prepared for transportation and have now been successfully shipped to Bangladesh.
